I loved growing shallots at our allot...So exciting! I loved growing shallots at our allotment and hope to add them to our new veg patch next year (we are fans of anything pickled!), and I still find growing plants from seed magical - the sheer volume of leaf/flower/stem/branch that seems to come from nothing is amazing.
