Hello Everyone!
I'm sat in my conservatory, and it feels like SRING! I'm soooo ready for spring, it's just a little bit lighter in the evenings here in the UK, I love lighter evenings! I don't think we are 'out of the woods' yet with the wintry weather, but I can feel a change in the air!
I've been given the Liebster Award by three lovely ladies recently, thank you , Bee, Ale and Jo, sorry this is a bit late! I don't want to bore you by answering all their questions, I'm really not THAT interesting, so I thought I would mix up the questions a bit!
I know this isn't the actual Award, I've not yet learnt how to take images off the Internet and put them on my blog! This was from last year!
So here are some Bits of Me......
I'm an early riser, I love early mornings, especially in the summer, being up before 5am listening to the birds.....bliss! Saying that, this morning the alarm woke me up....I'm soooo tired today!
When I was little I really wanted to be an Air Hostess, the job looked so glamorous, and I've always wanted to travel!
Sweet or Savory.....Both!
My Desert island essential would at the moment need to be hook and yarn! Or a book on how to build a boat!
What makes me tired? At the moment......just about anything!
If I could visit anywhere in the world I'd like to go to Australia. I've been to some wonderful countries, and had just booked Australia when I found I was pregnant! One day I'd love to go.....
My favourite footwear? Well if I could, I'd go bare foot! I do however love sandals, with painted toenails of course!
What do I hate? Bullies, I can't stand it when someone uses their power or position to belittle someone. I'm usually a calm person be this can really get my blood pressure up!
What do I love? I love so many things but I think being creative and making something is top of the list, creativity feeds the soul don't you know!
If I happened to wake up one morning invisible, I'd like to follow my cat, I'd love to know what she gets up too!
I am lucky to have some very good friends. I think the three most important things about them are, they accept me for who I am and don't try to change me. They are there to listen when I need them, and their wicked sense of humour!
I'm having one of those days where decisions are beyond me, you know those days where it's hard to decide what to put in your sandwich, that in mind I really can't decide who to pass this on too! Feeble excuse I know!
Tomorrow I'm off to learn needle felting with my good friend Penny, I'm really looking forward to it, hopefully a creative day will recharge my batteries!
I've spent the morning making fat quarters, I love making fat quarters! I've wrapped some parcels up for my swap partners, I love wrapping parcels! I've washed one of my new vintage sheets, I love vintage sheets! I've had a lovely morning!
I'm waaaaaaay behind with your blogs, hopefully catch up with you all soon!
Eldest Bea had a great birthday...........
She had a Fox in a Box, curtesy of Oooh Betty! This weekend we are having a little gathering for her!
It's been a really, really busy week. The weekend will be busy too, full of good things, family, friends, creativity! Lovely!
Have a great weekend Everyone! I'll be back next week with Swaps, Nine patch squares and more of this......
Ada :) x

ReplyDeleteYour morning sounds positively delightful- enjoy every minute with that vintage sheet. It is so calming to wash, fold and iron glorious vintage patterns isn't it? So nice to hear you will be coming to visit, give us about 6 months to get through the reno and you can meet the new improved Betsy. We do bare feet almost all year round at Betsy's! mel x
ReplyDeleteNow I would love a cuppa in the revamped Betsy, as soon as I win the lottery, really should buy a ticket!! :) x
DeleteSitting in your conservatory on an "almost" spring morning sounds so nice! Our patio is open to the elements so we'll be waiting quite some time before we can sit out there (like April ... maybe!). Nice to learn more little interesting facts about our Ada :) You've had a lovely relaxing morning with all that fabric ... mmmm can smell those freshly laundered sheets!! I've been embroidering and have had quite enough of that for one day! Take care :) Wendy

ReplyDelete5am waaah! I'm a night Owl and could probably quite happily stay awake til 5am then sleep for a good part of the day...but alas I have two little kids who would not allow for such habits! I'm really pleased to have been paired up with you for the 4 happy things swap...very excited indeed! I'll have a think this week and start putting together a little bundle of happiness!
