I would just like to say how grateful I am for all the lovely, supportive comments on my previous posts. I've not been able to reply to each of them as I normally do, but that's not that I've not been touched by your words. I'm doing ok now, given myself a good talking to, rested lots, and can feel my energy levels increasing.
This is good, because on Wednesday I'm off to Florence with my sisters and my niece. I know, twice in one year, I feel extremely blessed, (and a bit greedy if I'm honest). The trip has been paid for by money our lovely Mum had left in her account when she passed away.
We've chosen Florence because it's a place she always wanted to go, but never did. We've chosen this week, because it would of been her birthday. So we will spend a few days together having fun, relaxing, sharing memories. There will be lots of laughter, maybe a few tears...and some champagne too!
It's taken a while, but I finally feel I'm letting go of the trauma surrounding my Mums death, and I'm remembering more about how she was, vibrant, and creative. It's a good place to be.
Thank you so much, for continuing to visit and pop by, even though there's not much happening here at the moment. Hopefully normal service will resume soon!
