My first year growing zinnias. Well I say growing, I've cheated with these and bought plug plants...I've got packets of seeds for next year though ;) Please flower zinnias, I can't wait to see you. Maybe later in the month you will get a photo of my zinnias in bloom?!
Hope you're enjoying my pictures each day, thank you for stopping by.

There seem to be loads of buds there. Do you know what colour they are going to be?
ReplyDeleteI can't remember Alison, it will be a lovely surprise! ;) xxx
DeleteUhm...curiosity, curiosity...but it is nice to imagine color on all that green!!! ;-))

Can't wait, they are such a pretty flower ;) xxx
DeleteI love zinnias - so bright and sturdy and zingy. Always wanted to try growing them... x
ReplyDeleteThey are great aren't they :) xxx
DeleteI hope they flower for you and so that I can hopefully see them too!
ReplyDeleteWill show you once they've bloomed Amy ;) xxx
DeleteI love zinnias and this year germinated some for the first time. I'd share photos of them, if the slugs hadn't beheaded each and every one of them. Oh well, there's always next year. Hope you have better luck than I have!
DeleteOh that it so blooming annoying, little sods! Fingers crossed for next year :) xxx
DeleteZinnia's with their bright pink and orange colours. I love them too. Tried to grow them myself too a few years ago. I got 2 flowers, the smallest you can imagine and the colours were a bit faded... so not such a good thing to do in our garden perhaps? Not again for me. I hope your Zinnia's will bloom big!
ReplyDeleteLove,
Mirjam
I'm hoping I can nurture my seeds next year...then stop the slugs eating them!!! ;) xxx
