A Picture A Day...19

I did say I wanted a garden full of Verbena Bonariensis, and that's what I have ;) I took this photo last night whilst drinking rhubarb and ginger gin, sat on the garden with my friend, we laughed lots, and watched the sun go down. I'm rather enjoying our mini heatwave.

  1. Morning Amanda is that what the tall plant is? Next door have some growing by our joining fence, it peeps over the top and I managed to get Laura in the garden yesterday to show her all the tiny flowers on each head. They are stunning. It is supposed to be hotter today does it affect your MS? Poor Laura struggles in this with her ME. Have a good day.

    1. They are beautiful flowers aren't they, the butterflies and bees love them. Yes it does quite significantly, I love the sun and heat but won't go out in it for long, no more hot country holidays for me :) xxx

    1. I was lovely, we've been promising each other a gnt in the garden since April but the weathers been so shocking...not quite the same in fleeces, boots and blankets, although I'm sure we would have by the end of summer, if the sun hadn't shone! ;) xxx

    1. There's loads of it! I do love it, these are all from a few plants I bought a few years ago, took me a couple of years to realise I had been pulling up the seedlings, thought they were weeds! ;) xxx

  5. Your plants are beautiful. Do you make or buy the gin? I was reading the other day that gin is good for you as its made from juniper berries and so is full of antioxidants.
