Pea shoots, delicious in salads. These are growing in an old wine crate, I've sown a few more in the gaps. You can get at least two picking from them, and if I sow some more in a few weeks I should get pea shoots all summer. The little pots at the side are sweet basil, the middle pot blew over...looks like the seeds were spilt out. I will sow some more.
I love growing my own food and flowers, makes me ever-so happy. A simple soul.
Have a lovely Sunday.

Watching this stuff grow in your own garden is the best thing.

DeleteLove the last 3 days of pictures, material looked lovely almost like a painting. Pea shoots sound interesting. I have been pootling in my garden today, potting up some flowers so we have a bit of colour. Look forward to seeing more photos this month.
ReplyDeleteThe fabric really is a work of art! :) xxx
DeleteWe picked strawberries, red currants and raspberries tonight and salad yesterday but there is weeding to be done around the beetroot. Jo x
ReplyDeleteVery productive Jo, I'm still waiting on my raspberries. There's always weeding to be done ;) xxx
DeleteWe love pea shoots here, you've reminded me I haven't planted any yet this year. Must remedy that! It's wonderful to have fresh home grown food isn't it. CJ xx
