Hello October!

My Goodness me! Where did September go?! It was over in a flash!

But what a beautiful month it was, warm sunshine.....the month I fell in love with Florence!

I'm loving the colours at the moment, Autumn is really beautiful this year....

The shadows are great too......

I'm crocheting away......not sure what these will become yet, just using up those scraps!

I'm rearranging a few things, eager to get on with finishing our kitchen! Why do builders take sooooo long getting back to you! I only want a new tap and tiles!

Yes, Hello October.....please keep on being sunny!

I've been catching up with your blogs, they are never a chore to read....however a few extra hours in the day would be good!!!

I'm really enjoying all those lovely Yarndale stories and images, I really, really want to go next year! It looked fab!

Well must dash, off to chase up the builder, then Crafty Club tonight!

Bye for now,

Ada :) xxx

  1. So very colourful. October has started in a different vein here. Wet, grey and miserable. I am going to go outside a pick a posy before the rain gets any harder.
Have fun at your crafty club.
Yarndale was fab! :) Although I'm yet to post my photos. x

  2. I adore your crafty goodness Ada! All of that colourful crochet makes me want to give it another a go... I didn't prove to be any good at it when I tried a few months back :( I'm blaming the teacher's methods rather than my ability :)

  9. Such colourful crochet against vintage sheets. Never fails to cheer me up whilst reading your blog. I agree, September did indeed fly by although the temperature is staying quite warm where we are, so it still feels like late August/early September...for now at least. x

  20. some lovely photos here and thanks for sharing your musings. I went to yarndale last saturday, I am not a knitter and crochet with fine cotton so not much there for me, however did manage to find a patchwork stall so 6 half metres made their way into my bag!

  26. Septmeber was great, it included my birthday, after all! And weatherwise it has been glorious. I don't mind a bit of crisp in the air as long as the sun is shining!

  30. I have the same Molly Makes calendar hanging in my office. From across the room the photo is reminiscent of a sandwich. Yum.
