Yummy Yarn Giveaway!

Yummy Yarn Giveaway......well we all love a bit of Yummy Yarn, don't we?!

I've put together 6 balls of lovely, soft Drops Cotton Light yarn, in these fantastic Autumnal colours. They would make a great cosy scarf!

Now this isn't the easiest yarn to work with, it does have a tendency to split which can be annoying. Annette's done a great review over on her blog, My Rose Valley.

So here's what to do......

Firstly, you need to be a follower of this blog.

Next leave a comment here letting me know you want to enter.

If you share this on your blog, Facebook page, or Instagram, let me know and I'll pop your name in the bag again!

Giveaway ends Friday 8th November 9:00pm GMT.

Open overseas too.......Good Luck!

Bye for now!

Ada :) xxx

New project.....more next time! Off to Oxford this weekend, any tips on where to shop would be great, any hidden gems? :) xxx

  2. Not so sure on hidden shopping gems, but you MUST have a drink in The Turf Tavern, fantastic little pub hidden away, it's more like a rabbit warren, there are lots of nooks and crannies and it has a great atmosphere. Also, try Mortons if you fancy a sandwich on the go - absolutely delicious!

Please also enter me into the draw :-)

  19. Hello lovely Ada
I'd love to enter :) I follow along here and have shared on FB!
I live in Oxford! Let me know if you have any spare time/need a guide/want to meet for a cup of tea. Re places to visit: I think you'd love the Old Fire Station shop on George St - lots of handmade goodies - there is also a fantastic cafe there run by Crisis which serves great food at really reasonable prices. You'd also enjoy a wander round the Covered Market - don't miss the Helen & Douglas House vintage charity shop - you never know your luck! If you make it as far as Cowley Road there is a fab yarn shop called Fibre Works. You must take a look at a few Colleges too - Christchurch and Magdalen are two of my faves, but they are all beautiful. Email me if you want to ask anything! Have a lovely visit, Z xxx

  67. Oh my, after having taught myself to crochet in September this would really feed my granny square addiction. Some autumnal colours would really brighten up my Liverpool City Centre apartment; I saw fields and trees whilst on the train the other day and I didn't quite know what to do with myself.

I have shared this on my blog http://sophiesewandsew.blogspot.co.uk
    fingers, toes and eyes crossed!

  73. I'm a big fan of Drops yarn! I'm working on a blanket using the Paris yarn at the mo' - that splits a bit too, but it doesn't put me off cotton yarn. (Seems like this yarn is a bit like the Rico Cotton Aran for splitting). Count me in please Ada - I'm writing a post about my crocheted Autumn bunting sometime today so will give this post a mention. X
