Colour On A Grey Day.......

 
 
It's a grey day today, I'm needing a bit of colour, so I thought I'd share! Colour has always been important too me, I'm not sure if it's because I grew up in the 70s, lots of psychedelic colours there.......colour does something to my soul.
Quiet day today for me, I'm going to potter quietly at home, I have a child asleep, poorly with cold, so I don't want to disturb her. It even feels like a quiet, calm sort of day, the fog dulling any sounds. A grey day, which makes you appreciate the colours even more.

    Colour is a wonderful thing isn't it! I am trying to add more colour to our lives! It makes things seem so much more cheerful, whether a child of the 70's like you and I or not! I hope that your daughter is better soon. xx

    Although the sun isn't up yet, I think it might be a grey day here too. Lots of darkness hanging over the lake, which I can see from my living room window. Your cheery colours are a little boost in our black and white landscape :)

    That yellow cupboard!!! Love it. I admire people who are brave with colour. Once we own a home again I fully intend to be more daring.

    Loving your cheerful photographs! And have I told you lately how much I LOVE your yellow cabinet? (Only about a hundred times, I know!)

    I used to reckon the rain KNEW it was 3pm and timed itself to fall just as we set off to pick the littlies up from Primary school! Lxx
