Just Lately...

I've said goodbye to my vintage sheet chairs, they will now be making someone else very happy. Feels good.

I've been entertaining friends...simple food, lovely conversation, delicious wine. Feel blessed.

Had a sneaky hour in the local with my hubbie and some friends. Very indulgent.

Bought myself a new book...which I will share soon. It's beautiful.

Spent lots of time planning my new garden, getting an idea of the costs, and what will be involved. Very excited.

Had a go at lasagne gardening. Delicious veg?

What have you been up to just lately, I'd love to here!

  3. It sounds like you've had a wonderful week! Your veg beds look interesting were they a kit or did you design them yourself? I'm debating over a couple more veg beds & one like that would look lovely next to my little seating area x

    1. Hi Jo, they are kits from Birdies, an Australian company, not cheap but I'm hoping they will last a long time...very attractive too! :) xxx

  5. Sounds like a good bunch of lately to me, I've just been planting the sweetpeas out, by sitting on a blanket by the border, trying to make the gardening as low energy as I can, grown your own lasagne sounds like fun

  6. Such a bright and happy blog, I love your images of your black and white kitty and the ginger kitty on a previous post. Your crochet is lovely and I really like the chair cushions you made especially in the yellow colourway.
    Warm greetings

  9. Your photos are always so beautiful, sounds like you've been having a busy, happy time. A new book is always such a good treat. My treat has been some lovely bright yarn to try an Indian Sari inspired design in crochet, it may take me quite some time, lol. Hx

  10. That cat - I'm beginning to wish we had one again! Maybe an addition to our new house once we get moved in and settled. And once Joe understands that tails are not for pulling...
Have a great weekend and good luck with your garden. It'll be lovely.
