2015 Garden Review...

My garden was transformed in 2015...well the bottom half. It all started when our neighbour, removed their rather large cherry tree.

At first I was devastated, I just loved that tree, watching the seasons change through its branches, and of course looking out for the fairies who lived amongst its trunk. (I know they were there as my eldest, when she was two, told me she had seen them!). But after it had gone, after I'd stopped sobbing, I realised just how much space, and light there was.

And so there started the transformation. I've so enjoyed seeing the changes, I just LOVE my studio, (Otto, please, please behave yourself, so I can get in there again!). I love the space, I love the patio...and I love those fabulous veg beds. That's a whole lot of love! So here's a little look back on my garden last year, inspired by Madelief. I just hope one day, my garden will look amazing, like hers.

On grey, wet days like these, looking back on the colour in the garden is just what I need...thank you all for your lovely comments on my last few posts, it's good to know you are out there!

  1. A happy new year to you Amanda. Looking back over your last few posts the garden transformation is fab. I look forward to many more pictures of the garden as it transforms this year. My daughter showed me an Instagram video of Otto this morning, it made her chuckle all the dashing around then a sudden stop. Typical puppy.
