With just a little, green and pink thrown in!
On Friday, I received a little parcel of goodies from Mia. Would you like to look?
I LOVE, little parcels of goodies and loveliness, don't you? This was indeed a lovely, lovely, little parcel.....
It contained some gorgeous fat quarters, mainly blue, Mias favourite colour, with a hint of pink, and the most adorable Hexie Love Heart, made by Mia!
THANK YOU so much Mia, I love this little parcel.....it got me thinking about how I could mix these up a bit......
I feel some blue makes will start to appear! Then, of course, I've just made this blue beauty....
I think I might be going into my blue phase, my Happy Blue Phase! What's the colour that's drawing you in at the moment?
I visited my favourite charity shop last week, I came away with a big smile on my face....and these in my bag!
A half apron, handmade in a beautiful pink rose fabric, some doilies, embroidery tablecloths. A sandwich plate, and four little tea plates. They are Elizabethan china, the Carnaby pattern, I love this pattern, but to fit properly into this post, it really should be in the blue colour-way that they do!
Please enter my giveaway if you haven't already done so.....and a warm welcome to all of you who are new to Vintage Sheet Addict, please feel free to leave me comments and questions.
I will be back at the weekend to let you know the winner! Have a good creative week everyone!
Ada :) x

ReplyDeleteI think I need to get to the Thrift store also, maybe even today. This time of year they have a large Halloween section (my least favorite) so I don't visit that often this time of year...

I've always loved blue, and going into green at one side of it and purple at the other.
ReplyDeleteI love your printer trays. They are so colourful and vibrant. And talking about blue, my daughter just loooves anything blue, teddies, jackets, hair clips tops. It's a very soothing colour for me.
ReplyDeleteThank you everyone for leaving me your thoughts! I'm busy at the moment trying to set up my Etsy shop! A very, very slow process! The system is awful to work with! Might go with EBay, think it will be quicker! Ada :)
ReplyDeleteHello Ada
ReplyDeleteI'm needing a little bloggy moral support. So far, you are dead cert for winning my giveaway, and much as I like you, this is a bit disappointing to say the least! Any tips on how to grow my blog like yours is growing? Can you give me a we plug?

loving those trays x
ReplyDeleteI am loving your blue! And your four printing blocks look brilliant lined up together. I am loving mustard yellow at the moment...retro and autumnal, what more could I want? x
ReplyDeleteHi Ada! I am so pleased you enjoyed the contents of the little parcel that I sent your way ;-) I am also pleased you like blue... how could you not, it is the most beautiful colour there is! Just think about the blue sky (which we have seen scarcely little of lately...)
ReplyDeleteLove, love, love your printers trays!
Hi Ada, I just found your blog... I think I'm a tad late getting to the party! I love the papered drawers. I have a bit of a thing for square display boxes myself, new ones seem to be popping up in my house on a more regular basis recently. Although none are decorated so beautifully as yours. Jo :)
