Off To The Sea...

 
 
 
 
Hello Folks...the summer holidays are here at last!
 
I'm taking a blog break, we are off to Brighton tomorrow for a little holiday! I'm packing my wellies as it sounds like it might be a bit on the wet side, but I can't wait to see the sea again! If I can, I will post a little over on IG...link is over on the sidebar.
 
My new crochet blanket is coming with me. I was asked weeks ago to make a baby blanket (she will have left home, if I don't get a wriggle on!). I'm using Deramores Studio DK, the colours are fab and it's so easy to crochet with.
 
Back soon, with tales to tell...and hopefully at least a few sunny pictures!

    Have an amazing time in Brighton Amanda. you won't be too far from me there, it is gorgeous today so hopefully it will continue for you :-)

    Mmm. Sadly we are due bad weather over the weekend. I do hope you are staying longer. I am about 15 miles away but with the downs the weather can be so different. When my son married at the Pavillion I rang him to say we might not make it the taxis were not driving as we had heavy snow. He said it is fine here I have just been out for a run! Do enjoy your break. Love the blanket colours.

      have a lovely time, have only been to Brighton in the winter when working at the stitching show, went for about 6 years so did not see much, seem to remember it is a pebble beach not sand, will not be too comfortable to sit on and sorry you will not be able to build sandcastles!

    I hope you have a great time. I'm glad to hear you recommend Deremores Studio DK - I've just ordered some for a blanket and never used it before. Good to have the Amanda seal of approval! x
