Hello!

We're back, after a most relaxing, enjoyable holiday. It was perfect. I've absolutely fell in love with North Yorkshire, wish I'd gone years ago. I've taken hundreds of photos...so that's Brighton, and Yorkshire to sort now!

I'm back to a garden that's full of produce, but also starting to 'go over'. Autumn feels very close. Chutneys are on the agenda this week. It's our last full week together, before we start to get back into school mode. I'm going to make the most of this next ten days with my girls.

We've put the sofa into the garden studio, so I can create a bit, and snooze a bit too. I've tried to do a bit of sewing on my small blue Formica table but it just feels too restricting, so it's a trip to IKEA I think, for a larger trestle table. And from my vantage point, sat on that comfy sofa, I'll be needing a bird table. I image many an hour will be spent birdwatching!

Fingers crossed I will get my act together, I've so much to show you. Thank you all for your comments, I had no access to my blog whilst I was away, so I've only just read through them. Yes, four had fun in Yorkshire!

Minnie's glad we're back, she's surveyed her patch, had a good sniff at who's been trespassing, and then slept all afternoon! :) xxx

  5. Glad you had a wonderful time in Yorkshire, it's a very beautiful part of the world. The garden always goes a bit mad when you're away at this time of year I find, it's hard to keep up with all of the produce. I shall look forward to seeing your larger table, it looks like such a lovely place to create (and to watch birds). Wishing you a good week. CJ xx

  12. Hello Amanda. Welcome back. Always nice with a break but there is no place like home. I have not managed to publish a single blog post yet, just catching up with home and garden. But it will come. School started today and in a finger snap we are all back into routine. ENjoy your treasured studio. I have crazy studio envy... :)
