Emerging...

...from the puppy haze. Grabbing a few moments here and there, we've had two full nights sleep, after three weeks of night time barking, it's like winning the lottery!

Hopefully normal blogging will resume, but I will need a bit more sleep first.

Hope all is well and good in your part of the world.

Minnie on the other hand, is exactly the same, it's as if nothing has changed in her world. She seems unaware of the chaos, one small puppy has created! ;) xxx

  5. Otto is so cute, yes little puppies can make a big noise, sorry you have been so sleep deprived and I wish you quieter nights and less chaos. I'm glad Minnie can sleep through it all.
Love your yellow coffee pot, blue and white cup and collection of gravy boats! :-)

  7. As I look at my snoozing 8 year old dog I am reminded of those puppy days when he never slept and chewed everything in sight but he was so adorable that I didn't even mind.....much. Otto could not be cuter. Hang in there. They grow up pretty fast.

  9. Oh I remember the puppy haze. It was 10 years ago, but I remember like it was yesterday ;-). It's just phase and soon you'll be enjoying an incredibly adorable pup that sleeps through the night. It's so worth it.

  12. They steal your hearts and your sanity and your time don't they, but I'm sure you'd no more be without darling Otto now than I'd be without my six hounds :)

    1. They certainly do...our home would be too quiet without him now! I love that eve if I just nip out the room for a second, he greets me like we've been apart of years! Beats the grunts I get when I pick the girls up from school ;) xxx

  13. What a lovely little dachs! I grew up with 50 of them - my mother bred them, and was a show judge. They are great little dogs but so self-willed...
