Hello Everyone, I hope you have all had a good weekend!
The one thing I love about this Crafty Community, is our ability to inspire and motivate one another. We might not all be in the same craft room (good job if you could see my small space!), but we can still share ideas, triumphs, as well as disasters!
This little bag was inspired by Me Me Rose, she has been sharing the most lovely little makes using vintage sheets and embroidery cloths. I had one of those I Want One Of Those moments when I saw them! I decided to start with a bag but think a little cushion will be joining our home soon.
Me Me Rose is having a little 'bloggy' break over the summer, I hope the sun shines for her and she returns with lots of lovely new things to show us!
Just what it needed, a Suffolk puff and a little button!
The pink fabric and embroidery cloth were from a charity shop, the blue fabric an eBay buy, and the lovely little yellow pocket was fabric I brought from the wonderful Jane at Teawagon.
The design of the bag is loosely based on one of Janes bags that was in an edition of Molly Makes. Sorry I haven't put links up to their blogs but I haven't worked out how to do that yet!
The bag, I think will be my new Book Club Bag, once a month I meet up with good friends, for good company, good cuppas, and lots of laughs! With a smidgen of discussion about the book thrown in!
Ada :)

DeleteHello lovely one
ReplyDeleteI've always appreciated your comments on my blog, but could never find you in the blog world which with a name like vintage sheet addict was annoying as I didn't want to miss out. Now you're here and I didn't realise. So glad I found you as it all looks wonderful. Keep on sharing the goodies with us won't you. By the way I loved how you summed up blogging with the girly party analogy says it all really.

Your bag's lovely, the inside's as gorgeous as the outside, I love the pink and yellow fabrics together.
