This is the only day I have 'free' this week, a friend is popping over for coffee this afternoon, so this is a relaxing day for me....yippee! (Bathroom needs a clean, but I will ignore this fact for the next few minutes!)
So Making Me Merry this Monday Morning......
Finding new homes for my little (large!) stash of yarn....really MUST revamp that trolley...not liking the brass effect, not me!
Merry Minnie, I hardly see her these days, she's always off exploring, but she always finds the best places to rest when she's home!
Finally eating from the garden, I carefully labelled everything but some bird removed all the labels....makes for interesting eating combinations! (Mr Bea, please cut the lawn!)
Delicious Strawberries, baby sweet peppers, can't wait for those!
Morning Bench all ready, once bathroom sparkling of course, definitely can't wait for that!
Blues skies, Little Bea and I had a detailed conversation about the blue sky on the way to school this morning. She noticed lots of different shade of blue.
"Why do I notice all the different blues Mum?" She asked me. "It's because you're an artist, you notice things so you can draw them. Most people miss the details but you notice them, artists notice details!" She then went on to tell me she's going to be a singing artist, I think perhaps she will be!
Flower practice!
She always makes me smile....
Finding my Little Deer on top of the typewriter, Little Bea has been playing again!
Flowers from Mr Bea, he's not prone to flower buying so this was a very Merry Moment!
My new Holiday Outfit....sale on at White Stuff! Yay! Love the details.
We are off on our holidays at the weekend....soooooo excited, this is our first 'proper' (girls words, not mine!) holiday in a few years, we normally go camping, but I'm not sure I'm up to that this year. I love camping but it's a very physical holiday! (Tent will go up in the garden, if we can rope in a volunteer to help put it up! I got to have some nights under canvas!)
We are going to Lyme Regis, so any helpful tips of where to go, shop, eat, beaches etc would be greatly appreciated!!! SO EXCITED...just hope the weather holds!!!
Lots of people have asked about my Sunburst Blanket, well it's from Issue 2 of Mollie Makes! Talking of magazines....
I've been planning, one day........
I was lucky to win this great book in Claire's giveaway, it's going to live in our car over the summer, help us identify all those wild flowers! Thank you Claire, and thanks to Sarah Ravens team for providing the book!
And talking of Giveaways..(I really don't plan any of these posts you know!!)
The Giveaway winner is...... Lemon Loves! Well Done...please contact me and I can send it off to you!!!
I'm closing my Etsy Shop tomorrow...so please if you need anything grab it while you can!
Thanks for all your comments, your thoughts and your support....hopefully back later in the week, if time allows! Packing to be done....SO EXCITING!!!
Bye for now,
A Very Merry, Ada Bea :) xxx
Lucky winner !! Have a great holiday. Sue x

If you get time pop up the coast to Beer such a pretty fishing village where we holiday at least once a year. Merry Monday indeed! Have a great holiday Ada x
ReplyDeleteSWEET. Lovely colors!! Signe
ReplyDeleteYour Monday morning looks so cheerful and happy. I love your new holiday outfit. How exciting to be coming down to Dorset on holiday. Lyme Regis is lovely, some things I would recommend is the Donkey sanctuary near Sidmouth( I am hoping to write more about this later in the week.) Bridport has a great wool shop (incase you need some more) and a vintage quarter. West Bay has great cafes close to the seashore (Ellipse or Watch House cafe) and of course there is Weymouth further along the coast.
