Loving Summer 2013.....

I'm sooooo enjoying Summer 2013, I really, really don't want this one to end!

I'm trying to finish off my Happy Blanket....it will remind me of the Happy Summer of 2013!

Little babies, growing from these........

To these! (It really is like magic!)

I always make such a mess though.....but what a gorgeous mess!

Every time I sit down for a cuppa, I pick up the hook....Lots of cuppas!

Look at my Happy Basket!

I have done some stuff around the house, cleaned the kitchen, defrosted the freezer, AND cleaned the cooker! Then collapsed! (HAD to still quietly and hook away of course......just to recover!)

Little piles of Loveliness growing steadily!

Lots of fun.....(between the showers!) lots of changes in the garden, it's all looking a bit tired, nights too are drawing in.....I'm trying not to notice these changes just yet!

Making FULL use of our Garden Campsite!

I'm feeling very tired this morning after a very late, giggly, All Girls Campout......they are all sleeping soundly, I'm tempted to bang a saucepan and spoon and wake them all up with a loud bang! (but I won't!)

This helped........!!!

Magnificent sunsets.....wonderful moonlit nights! Several loo trips up the garden last night, not all my own, I hasten to add! Why do 9 year olds set me off giggling at 2 o'clock in the morning! And why are tent zips so loud!

Thanks for stopping by.....hope you're enjoying life too! Whatever the season you're in!

Ada :) xxx

Even Minnie's having a good time.......

  7. What a summer we have had, but the rain yesterday here in Essex was most welcome.
I have a feeling, that the sheet in the photo with all your baby crochet beginnings is the same as my very first quit cover. I must look up the old photo album

  21. can see you have ahd a great time, giggling is very good for you too!
Yes what a lovely summer we have had, bank holiday weekend so now got rain rain and more rain!
My garden is looking so dull not one flower now just everything green, must dead head the lavender but the bees are still visiting although the flowers are over.
The Leeds music festival is on here and loads of the people who went yesterday are going home as they have been drowned in the rain and all their posessions ruined, a pricey spend as the tickets were £200

  23. Lovely, Ada, and yes, I am with you here, it has been a pretty good summer so far - and let's have some more, as we are off on Monday to Wales! We seem to have the same taste in stripy rugs and trays...love your photos this post, and be great to see that blanket completed. Now, should I pack some woo and a hook as well as all the fabric, felt, thread .........? Hmmmm. We may need two cars after all!!

I did laugh at the loo-trips and noisy tent-zips, reminding me of the last time I took our guides camping...it rained and rained and rained! Lx
