Stuff Sorting......

So far this week, it's all be about Stuff Sorting......I've spent most of my time Stuff Sorting.

I've not been doing it all by myself, I've had a little help....from the 8 legged variety!

I've been trying to look at things from a different angle, swap things around a bit.

Moving the furniture around, well moving some to a different angle, does that count?

Listening to the radio, singing along to the songs (perhaps that's why it rained today!)

Moved wallpaper around too......still not too happy with this, I'd love some florist buckets to keep these more upright, does anyone know where I could get some from......without costing the earth!

Getting ready for the cooler weather, I'll be leaving my nest in the conservatory soon, so I've made myself a snug place, near the radiator, to crochet away......it's a very comfy chair, actually looks hideous, glad my Rainbow Blanket was able to help!

Bookcases have been sorted, two big bags to the charity shop....some given to friends and family. China has been moved and popped on display.

Mantle-place has been given an overall, but I'm sure I will move things again....until I'm 100% happy!
It's good to have a shake up every now and again!

Since I took this shot I've moves the glass jar, accident waiting to happen?!!!

I've revamped my little blog too, I get very nervous of doing this, thinking I'll delete everything! I really, really wish I got all this techno stuff! Anyway I've managed to put a few new pictures on, phew!

Thank you once again for stopping by, and thank you those who take the time to say Hi. I love reading your comments. Hello to those new here, hope you are enjoying your visits!
Bye for now,

Ada :) xxx

  6. I can feel the joy of your sort out and rearranging Ada, we did this in Alice's room over the weekend , 2 black bags to charity and 2 filled with her under 10 year old books which I could never part with, up intro the attic they go for grandchildren one day!!! Loving your mantle piece, ours could do with some tlc too. As for our 8 legged friends they are everywhere at the moment, I was reading on Nina's blog Tabiboo that conckers keep the critters away. Enjoy the rest of your week xxx Penny

  7. YOu have got such an extensive collection of wallpaper!! Amazing! I use old bottle crates and magazine racks for mine - but you'd need too many!

  8. The room looks great, how about a tall bucket, decorated of course ;-D that would store the paper well, or those large cardboard? bins that usually have flour or similar in. I see some in the op shops here a lot and always say I should get some for storage. Of course they are of no use to you as they are here in NZ but I reckon you might get them there...somewhere.

I think it keeps the home love going for me anyway a bit of paint here and a change there and its like a new home again!.

Oh not sure I like your eight legged helpers much. lol.

  14. Oh it's all just so neat and pretty! I LOVE your fireplace, it is beautiful. I have a tall zinc florist bucket that I use to store tall umbrellas (with a vintage zinc bucket for compact brollies next to it), I found it in a local homewares shop for not very much - you could ask if a shop could source one for you, or even just ask a florist! Even check out the supermarket, see if they'd sell you one of theirs...anyway, your space and blog have had their autumn tidy, well done! Chrissie x

  17. It's good to have a freshen up and rearrange every so often. My mum is certainly a firm believer of it! I've been poking about with techy things on my blog too (and getting frustrated!) but will get there eventually. Love your new cosy crochet spot and the paper at the back of the bookcase. Great backdrop for all your china.
