Doing A U-Turn!

Do you mind if I do a U-Turn?

You left such lovely messages for me, full of support, making me realise once again, how much this little space means to me, and how much it helps me find my balance.

And then I read this.....

An article in 'Homemade With Love' Magazine, about Anna Burnell, most of you will know her and her beautiful blog, Miss Beatrix.........and her delicious buttons!

She had told me she'd mentioned Vintage Sheet Addict in the article, but I hadn't had chance to read it until yesterday......

'Ada Bea's blog is bursting with colour. A talented crocheter and collector of beautiful vintage sheets, reading her posts is like having a cup of tea with a good friend'

Gosh, Anna, thank you! I must say I had a tear in my eye after I read this, and a smile on my lips.

I thought to myself, how can I put this little space of mine away, even for a short while?

So, Lovely People, I'm doing a U-Turn! I'm removing the tissue paper and carefully taking this little ball out of its safe place. I'll just have to think of another ball I can pop away! Or throw a few over to Mr Bea!

I don't know how often I will put posts on here, and I can't promise I'll visit you as often as I'd like too, but I will try my best! You......this space, are very important to me!

Although I haven't been commenting, I've been trying to read your blogs when I have a moment and I'm really enjoying all your Christmas preparations! I'm waaaaaaaay behind with mine. I think I'm the most behind I've ever been....better get a wriggle on!

Bye For Now,

Ada :) xxx

This fireplace needs a serious Christmas makeover, I got some LED white lights but it looked like the Blackpool illuminations, oh well back to the drawing board!!! :) xxx

  4. You need the warm led lights, I know what you mean about the white ones we could have landed aeroplanes in our living room when we accidentally bought some.

  14. Real life takes over and that's important. That's what has happened with my blog after writing my first blog for 6 years and building up a lovely following and then getting nastiness and having to delete it over night and not being able to tell my lovely followers left me feeling very sad and flat. Then after the support of some lovely blogging friends that I was able to inform they encouraged me to write another and my heart hasn't been in it but I have just started to pop in and out when I can. I think our blogs are there in our lives when we need them the most mine was my life line for a good couple of years while I struggled with a broken marriage and an ill son talking about my passion for vintage and my ever changing home was a great outlet. But lives change and move forward and real life is much more important than getting stressed about leaving a comment etc. Our blogs will always be there and your followers will respect that you have a life to live and when you pop back from time to time to write a post your followers will embrace it like the lovely people they are. Take care, dee x
