Happy Today Because.....

I have a Happy Basket that follows me around my home, full of the things I love.....

I've started to use some of my yarn stash....to make lovely things....

I might not be adding to my Mothers' Love blanket, but that doesn't stop me admiring those little squares......

Finding some King Cole Merino yarn, hiding in the bargain basket at my local yarn shop......will be added to my blanket in the New Year.......

Mr Postie delivering me a lovely parcel yesterday....two lovely vintage angels for my Lampshade Tree, thank you Shevie, I love them!

Having an added bonus in the parcel, it's a bit sparkly! Love a bit of sparkle at Christmas......

Seeing my home fill with festive cheer, tree up this weekend, and having a little time to relax.......

Treating myself to a magazine.....Lucy is going to have a column, can't wait to see what she comes up with each issue......

What's making you happy today?

Thank you as always for your comments, they too make me Very Happy!

Bye for now,

Ada :) xxx

  1. I love your baskets of goodies! The thing making all of us happy today is a little puppy called Tinsel who arrived here yesterday. I have a feeling it will be a long time before I can put baskets of anything on the floor!

  15. I have been very happy stitching with my new wool felt and gorgeous threads, in a warm house on a cold day, with like-minded friends. I love the shot of your living room getting all prepared to be festive. And those tabby yarns, radiating colour and warmth - yummy! Lx
