It's that time of year again where I start to crave spring, crave colour, crave more light.....I'm ok with the cosy, dark nights up until Christmas....but now, now I'm impatient for spring! This of course is pointless, spring with arrive in it's own good time and so I need to wait, like we all do!
This morning I just HAD to have some spring flowers in my home, I really NEEDED them! Now I love flowers, but I don't usually buy them as I think they can be expensive, but armed with a coupon in my pocket, I walked down to the local supermarket and picked up these. They will make me happy all week.
I'm desperately seeking out colour at the moment.....
And I'm finding it in every corner of my home.....
Teeny, tiny amounts in the garden.....I shall be watching in hope for more!
It's great waking up each day to the turquoise in my bedroom, well it feels like summer, I ignore the fact it's dark and cold outside!
And although colour is peppered throughout my home, more is needed I think....Colourful, Creative, Crafty Changes!
The bathroom has been 'spruced up', thank you Mr Bea....no more mouldy ceiling, well for a little while at least!
And I'm thinking of colours for the kitchen/diner.....I've fallen for my SMEG fridge now, (thank you for your Smeg door suggestions, I think it will end up on a wall somewhere!), and I'm rather partial to my new placemats, I love the zingy yellow/mustard, think that might be the new colour of my craft cupboard!
Yes, I hope 2014 will be the year we finally pop some more colour into our home!
I've enjoyed my visits to you this week, it's always a pleasure....I'm hoping to visit some new blogs this week too, thank you for stopping by and saying Hi!
Bye For Now,
Ada :) xxx

I know exactly what you mean about craving spring flowers...for me, it's those lovely blue grape hyacinths that I need to see soon. I do have some hyacinths flowering indoors at the moment, so they will have to do for now.

ReplyDeleteAda, I used to be the same - as soon as January 1st came round I was impatient for spring to come. But I'm learning to love winter. as it gives us time to rest and be creative indoors. I did buy some daffodils though - I never feel guilty about buying them as they're only £1 a bunch! x
