Wow!! There was me commenting earlier on how lovely the panelling looked and not thinking that your VSA twist would be anything like this and then I get to this post and see what you did! It is brilliant, it makes the panelling look great and the panelling makes the papers look like amazing pictures that are all framed. Wonderful! xx

ReplyDeleteFabulous ... I love it ... so bright and cheery ... have a great weekend lovely ... Bee xx
ReplyDeleteI recognise and can date the tiny triangle of pink flowery paper on the extreme top left. It is M&S, from about 1974 to 1979. Not only was it wall paper but also bed linen. I had bought the bedding in December 1974 when I moved into a house share, coincidentally one house mate had the same design in purple, the other had it in yellow. Later, when DH and I moved into our first home we papered the wall behind the bed with the wall paper matching the bedding. I think the paper was actually a washable vinyl. Your hall looks lovely.
ReplyDeleteYour stairs look superb! I love all the white with the vintage papers. What an ideal place to put your bags too!

I can't begin to tell you how much i LOVE this Ada. It's not really my thing, or to my taste, but it speaks to me. Does that sound a bit bonkers? I think it's the way each piece is framed by the white panel surround. I am starting to see how you got hooked on all those vintage patterns... xx
