Hello...I just wanted to drop by and say Hi, and thank you for all your lovely comments over the past few weeks. I'm sorry I've not been able to pop over to see anyone lately.
It's been a very busy week, it's going to be even busier next week. Hours of gardening. We have one week to get the preparations finished. My garden looks very empty. I can't help feeling sad, seeing it like this.
It will bloom again, look pretty again, I just need to keep my vision. It's like when you're half way through a room, and all you can see is the mess, and you're desperate to do the finishing touches!
But I know I'm so very lucky, to be creating the garden of my dreams. It might be a little quiet here over the next few weeks but I will keep you posted...have a very lovely weekend!
(If you need me, I'll be in the garden!)

DeleteHello Ada. Popping 'round for a quick visit. I too hear the garden beckon, this time of year. Housework can wait. I long to bury my toes in the earth.

DeleteHi Amanda, I hope you have a great week in the garden and also get some lovely gardening weather! The poppy is gorgeous, it almost looks as if it's made from tissue paper. X
ReplyDeleteThanks Sharon, it does doesn't it, it was so crumpled when it first opened, luckily it's survived the yucky weekend weather! :) xxx
DeleteAll the hard work will be worth it! Garden on!!
ReplyDeleteYay! ;) xxx
DeleteKeep hold of that vision, it will appear eventually, that's what I tell myself anyway. That poppy is beautiful. Hx
ReplyDeleteI'm holing on...it's not a quick fix gardening, unless of course you get Alan Titchmarsh landing with a team of people! But I'm hoping to lay the foundations of a beautiful, relaxing space :) xxx
DeleteYour white bench in the garden is rather lovely... I too have been AWOL of late, getting tied up with all kinds of things. Some fun, some not so much.
ReplyDeleteI hope the weather's good for your gardening and it all comes to fruition. And I hope you're planning to have a party once you've finished!
S x
Thank you Sarah...yes I'm planning a little celebration with some of my lovely girlfriends once the garden is done, perhaps a glass or two of champagne! :) xxx
