Joining in.....

I'm the little girl who's nose is pressed firmly against the window. I've been watching the most exquisite birthday party. All the little girls are dressed in the most beautiful dresses. They are all hand made, some are from vintage fabric, with the most delicate vintage buttons. A couple of the girls have been extra clever and have designed and printed their own fabric! There's buttons, ribbons and embroidery galore!

Each of the girls are carrying a present, handmade of course. Wrapped in the most delicious paper and ribbons. They have spent a long time creating their gifts and it's obvious they have been made with skill and love.

I've opened the door now, and popped my head in, but I'm also very aware that my dress isn't that well made, and although my gift has been made with love it doesn't look quite the same as everyone else's! ( that's to put it mildly).

I'm not too worried though, I've been watching the girls for some time now, I've noticed how they support each other. When someone stumbles there is always someone to help, and they always encourage each other with their creativity.
